AirText sms messages
MyTravelLite news, 18th November 2004
...whether customers are catching or meeting flights, they will receive up-to-the-minute AirText SMS information about their personal travel schedule...

MyTravelLite, Birmingham's favourite airline, has just made thousands of customers' travel experiences even easier.

The Midland's most popular low fares airline has now added a text message service to its comprehensive portfolio, bringing live flight status updates direct to mobile phones.

The new service will mean that whether customers are catching or meeting flights, they will receive up-to-the-minute AirText SMS information about their personal travel schedule, from check-in details to flight delay information.

Activating the AirText text message service couldn't be easier - customers simply tick the text updates box when booking MyTravelLite flights on line, or go to the SMS update icon on the Extras page. The text service is charged directly to customers' mobile phone bills, so there is no need to enter any additional payment details.

AirText updates offer the following benefits for just £1.50 a flight.

Check-in desk number
Terminal number
Gate number
Final call
Delay status reports
Cancellations

And for customers who subscribe whilst booking MyTravelLite flights, AirText even sends arrivals updates - free of charge - to any other UK mobile, ideal for letting partners, colleagues or PAs know your estimated time of arrival without having to make any expensive calls from abroad.
