...a great service for meeters and greeters as well as those flying...

Need to keep tabs on a flight coming into, or out of, a UK airport but don't want to be stuck in front of a computer or the TV? Well, now you can - with the new mobile flight info service, AirText.

Launched on Sky Text in February, the AirText service delivers up-to-the-minute flight information direct to your mobile phone, including crucial details such as check-in desk number, boarding gate number and real-time updates on delays or cancellations.

"It's a great service for meeters and greeters as well as those flying," says Kip Parker, Sky Text's National Sales Manager. "If you're tight for time, you can find out which terminal and check-in desk you need. If you're collecting someone, you can get the same information on your mobile that's displayed on the arrival screens at the airport."

Check out Sky Text page 676 to find out more, or text the word AIRTEXT followed by your flight number (for example, AIRTEXT BA123) to 80039. There's no subscription. You just pay £1.50 for five updates on your selected flight - that's 30p per message. Bon voyage!
